A Rancher's Nightmare by Jim Hickman
The Rancher’s Nightmare by Jim Hickman
Jim Hickman’s book brings into focus one of the less well-known aspects of the UFO phenomenon – that of animal mutilations.
Because of the disturbing nature of these events, the public-at-large tend not to hear about them, but The Rancher’s Nightmare seeks to correct this with a comprehensive and chilling history of this most horrendous of phenomena.
From an 1897 report to the death of the mare, ‘Lady’ in 1967 to the present day, Hickman goes into literal gory detail.
As well as the mutilations of domesticated animals, the book also includes reports of human mutilations and other injuries and deaths allegedly caused by encounters with UFOs and/or their occupants.
Also covered are: Charles Lindberg’s associations with UFO retrievals and Roswell in particular; a Missouri man who claimed to have visited Mars; and many other UFO incidents, mysteries and conspiracies.
The Rancher’s Nightmare is a terrific read, highly informative and most definitely recommended.
